Confusion have emanated from the decision of the referee to award a penalty kick has heightened tensions on social media platforms of both teams in the Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak match.

Reacting to the penalty awarded his side, Coach said, "he wanted to win but not this way, Hearts of Oak demonstrated class but the referee destroyed the game. I swear to God, I am being honest here, that wasn't a penalty. Anyway referee has the final say.
