Chinnedu was a young vibrant rich man in a city called Abease.He was almost thirty[30],when this story happened.
He was in UG when he dropped out from school because he didn't take his studies seriously and opted to drop out.
One day,he went out partying with his friends in a club at Santa Maria,he met a beautiful young girl,he immediately feel in love with this girl on the first sight and swore to marry her based on her consent.
Gloria was her name.Chinnedu couldn't have told his parents about Gloria because he was disowned by them due to his stubborn act.He had to marry her at all cost due to the imminent pressure he had from the girl family side.
2years in marriage,Gloria got pregnant and saw more reasons to sit her husband[Chinnedu] down to talk thing together.She was the one taking care of him since time memorial and advice him to get a job since pregnancy entails a lot of spendings,anti-natals etc.
He had no one to go to for help,and opted to take a drink at a bar,where coincidentally came across an old JHS mate,who is fucking loaded with cash.[They] sat down,and Chinnedu narrated his story to his old friend who turns to give him a helping hand.He gave him his address and asked him to meet him at his house.
[They] met and discussed issues,but the old friend opened up and told Chinnedu that he was in money rituals,if only he is willing to join him,he will show him the way.Chinnedu noded and pleaded that he has to inform his wife first,[he] quickly rushed home and informed his wife about what his friend told him.She[the wife],seconded the idea and Chinnedu join the cult.
He made a lot of money but only had 4years to live.They had 3 children,2boys and a girl.They lived happily till it got to the final week for Chinnedu to pass on.The grief and torture he felt inside him couldn't kill him than what the wife told him.
He was having a private conversation with her and she told him that she would get married should [he] kick the bucket.He taught she was just joking g,but she kept repeating it till sadness and sorrow killed him.
