Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, the Founder and Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies, has explained how he leveraged a GHC3.00 loan from his mother to become one of Africa's most powerful businessmen.
According to him, after being forced to handle his mother's bookshop following his second cycle of schooling, he seized an opportunity in 1995 to create a printing press to accommodate demand.
This resulted in the establishment of the Jospong Printing Press, which he founded with a loan of GHC3.00.
Dr. Siaw operated the printing press efficiently with tenacity, determination, and the assistance of God, and has since launched other firms, earning him the title "serial entrepreneur."
He stated this when addressing at the University of Health and Allied Sciences' 6th Leadership Lecture Series, which was held in commemoration of the late President Evans Atta Mills, under whose administration the University was founded.
