Hon. Kwame Antwi, the Municipal Chief Executive of Oforikrom, confirmed to Kessben TV that approximately 8 of the supervisors are currently in police custody and will be arraigned in court.
According to the MCE, the arrest came after a young man who was lured into the marketing firm filed a police report about Qnet's actions.
The supervisors of the Qnet group allegedly collected Ghc 4000.00 from the young man who reported his trauma to the police, claiming that his money would be quadrupled if he introduced any new members to the marketing firm.
He stated that they grabbed GHC 4000.00 from each number up to 40 persons.
On Kessben FM with Nyakoh Abronomah, Hon. Kwame Antwi stated that he had to personally ensure that all the supervisors of the marketing firm whose office is located in his municipal were arrested.
