In an interview with ZionFelix, Afia Schwarzenegger credited Black Sherif's success in his early career in the music industry to his Mallam.
According to the mother of two, Black Sherif's Mallam is good, which is why he is taking his music to new heights.
In the Muslim world, however, a mallam refers to a teacher; yet, a mallam can also refer to a traditional priest.
Afia Schwarzenegger further stated that she does not believe Black Sherif will be able to represent Ghana at the Grammy Awards in 2023.
