Yaa Blessing, a woman on Oyerepa Tv's Oyerepa Afutuo show, has accused her husband, Yaw, of assaulting her after they married. He wasn't like that when they were dating, but he's started beating her recently, she claims.
According to the 22-year-old woman, she already had two children before marrying the man and is now expecting another. Aside from the beatings, she claimed that her husband does not look after her and that he only gives her 20 cedis for three days at a time.
Aunty Naa, the host, inquired if she was employed. She said no, explaining that she doesn't have the funds to start a business and is waiting for her husband to provide funding.
Another revelation during the conversation was that the woman was also hooked to alcohol. As a result, the presenter inquired as to how she manages to spend the 20cedis on both food and booze, but she stated that she has been abstaining from alcohol for some time.
