Former blackstars skipper, Asamoah Gyan has revealed in an interview that popularly Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale was his classmate in basic school.

"I went to Seven great Princes Academy, and he was my classmate. What people don't know about him is that he knows business but sometimes somebody has to play the villain in the movie. If you meet him personally, here is a very respectful Guy, he is humane. But people have tagged him as controversial and all that. I am close to him and I know". Ghanaian's highest scorer, Asamoah Gyan made this revelation in an interview with Kwame Sefa Kayi on Accra based radio station, Peace Fm, when he went to lauch his book.
