Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku demands that the nation's best players were the ones who were called up for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The GFA supervisor has gone under the spotlight following the public group's tragic appearance in Cameroon.
The Black Stars persevered through an unfortunate spat the competition, which finished in a disheartening 3-2 loss to Comoros on Tuesday.
The outcome saw Ghana finish at the lower part of Group C in the wake of neglecting to win any of their three gathering matches.
Likewise, this is the initial time starting around 2006 that the Black Stars have been killed from the AFCON in the gathering stages.
Many have condemned the crew choice interaction, however Kurt Okraku accepts the nation's best accessible players were the ones picked.
That's what he noticed assuming Ghana had a player as great as Cristiano Ronaldo of Lionel Messi some place, they would be welcome to the Black Stars.
"The players who addressed Ghana are the best players we have… assuming there is a Ronaldo or Lionel Messi kind of player some place who will move directly to our initial eleven, just let me know and I will incorporate him," he said on Skyy Power FM.
In a different meeting with Asempa FM, the FA President dismissed claims that Milovan Rajevac's crew determination was impacted by outside powers.
As per him, the Serbian mentor was a definitive selector of the crew that played at the 2021 AFCON.
"Milovan is a definitive selector of players for the public group. Whenever he names his crew, he sends it to a board and legitimizes his call-ups to them. No one chooses players for the mentor," the GFA manager told Asempa FM.
"Any Ghana mentor that permits individuals to choose players for him doesn't have the right to mentor the Black Stars.
"Milovan and his colleagues chose the players and gave us the best players accessible right now. He chose players who are exceptionally devoted and prepared to serve our dear country."
In the mean time, pressure is mounting on the Ghana FA to sack Rajevac following the Black Stars' less than impressive display at the AFCON.
