The Chairman of the Appiatse Reconstruction Implementation Team, Benito Owusu-Bio, has guaranteed individuals of Appiatse that brief move was being made to move them to an impermanent resettlement site by May 1, 2022.

Mr. Owusu-Bio, who is the Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources responsible for Lands and Forestry, said 40 structures possessed by Future Global Resources (FGR) were being renovated for sure fire resettlement of the casualties of the January 20, 2022 blast that desolated the Appiatse people group and guaranteed 13 lives.
