MANCHESTER CITY PLAYS 100TH AGAINST ATLETICO MADRID

Manchester City will play for the 100th time in the Champions League when they face Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their quarter-final tie on Wednesday night at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Man City has won 55 of their first 99 matches in Europe's best club competition (excluding qualifiers), which is already the most by an English club in a century of games.

After drawing their last premier league match against their title contenders last Sunday at Etihad sports stadium. 

Only 13-time Champions League champion Real Madrid (57) has won more of the competition's first 100 games.
