The Ghana Police Service has reacted to social media requests to arrest a Lebanese man who was shown in a viral video threatening to kill a Ghanaian with a sword in broad daylight.
"This viral video has come to our attention and we are working on it," the police stated in a post on their official Facebook page.
According to a Facebook user named Benjamin Wayo Mahama, the Lebanese allegedly parked his car in front of the Ghanaian store for about an hour before being challenged by him.
"According to accounts, this Lebanese man stopped his car for about an hour in front of a man's store in Osu. When the store owner eventually instructed him to park his car properly so he could perform his business, the Lebanese began verbally assaulting him and threatening to murder him. He then emerged with a sword, forcing the business owner to flee into another store for safety. "Please, Ghana Police, do something," the Facebook user said on his wall.
