A resident of the popular millionaire's vicinity east legon has been arrested on charges of connecting big pipes into the main pipe of the Ghana water company limited denying other residents of water. This act made other residents lack water and reported to the water company thinking it was a major problem, upon officials reaching to survey the situation it opened that a resident had made an illegal connection and as a result halted each and everyone’s water flow.
The sanitation and water resources monster, Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah in her address revealed a resident of east legon has been arrested on the above said charges.
“Just yesterday, a resident of East Legon was caught red-handed, he had connected two big pipes s into our mainline and had denied the whole catchment area of water.
“When he has apprehended the pipes were disconnected, immediately water started flowing into people’s homes. But the most serious aspect of this crime is that people whom he had denied water were buying water from him,” she revealed.
The resident is currently in police custody preparing to face justice on account of illegal water connection and selling government beneficial resources to its citizens illegally.
