Bice Osei Kuffour, the Managing Director of the Ghana Post Company Limited, has disclosed that the company employs approximately 2,000 people.
He adds that the firm operates over 360 post offices around the country, despite the fact that he feels it is still struggling.
Obour, as he is called, emphasized that while the organization is fulfilling its goal, it still has capacity to do more to help communities.
"Being the MD for Ghana for the past few months has been a great experience thus far." Though there are certain issues that are currently being worked on, I am amazed. Every day, I've been studying since there's so much to learn. There are approximately 360 operational post offices in the United States.
"We have over 2,000 employees, but the firm is failing," he said in an interview on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen show Tuesday. "I have been assigned to totally revive the company, and that is precisely what I am doing."
Ghana Post, according to Mr Kuffour, has a lot of promise, and he is eager to turn things around.
Ghana Post, he observed, is working hard to satisfy the e-commerce industry, while not taking advantage of developing technological marketplaces.
