The female cop who was the subject of the town's most recent video leak has spoken up.
She told the news website mynewsgh that she is still in shock and hasn't come to terms with the disclosure.
She stated that the video of her partner's filmed sexual act was not meant for public consumption and accused a male acquaintance of blackmail for the film's publication.
Her acquaintance, she alleges, assisted her in sending a copy of the movie to her lover in Italy.
She claimed her pal sent a copy to himself, which he then tried to use to blackmail her with, and when she couldn't come up with the money, he released it to close friends, who then showed it to others, causing it to go viral.
"I apologise profusely for my actions, but the truth must be told." I'm getting my act together and have learned a lot of useful things in the process. According to the website, she stated, "I don't think I'll want to own a phone with a camera."
