The senior national group is at present without a coach.
The Otto Addo-drove specialized group that engineered Ghana's capability to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup was broken up following the two-legged tie against Nigeria.
Coach Addo and his partners were contracted to assume responsibility for the group only for the World Cup playoff against Nigeria.
Coach Otto Addo is a hot number one to take up the gig after President Akufo-Addo entrusted the GFA to select the Borussia Dortmund coach and the remainder of his specialized group, basically for the Qatar World Cup, which happens in November this year.

He is confident a declaration will be made soon.

However, once more, the public authority of Ghana is the business of the coach of the Black Stars and here is the situation where we had four coaches qualifying us for the World Cup.
"As far as legally binding commitment, a ton will go into it, so talking about these things' extreme. Thus, commitment are as yet progressing, and I'm certain we will convey our situation when a choice is made," he said.
The FA copyist uncovered the Association is genuinely considering President Akufo-Addo's idea that the specialized group that drove Ghana to fit the bill for the World Cup to the detriment of Nigeria be kept up with at minimum for the World Cup.
"The President said we ought to think about taking the four coaches to the World Cup, and this is a vital solicitation he made, yet the coach is under agreement, he is utilized, and if we need to connect with his administrations, we really want to return to Dortmund to demand for his delivery as we did before.
"We can't show insolence to the principal man of his word of the land; it is something he has actually spoken about out in the open and certainty and gatherings with the initiative of the FA, so it is high on the plan," said Henry Asante Twum.
