A pregnant woman has received severe beatings from his Muslim husband for failing to prepare his meal on time to break his fast.
Domestic violence in marriage has been highlighted once again after a man reportedly called Taofak Gbolagade subjected his wife to abuse.
According to an eyewitness, the man has always been subjecting his wife to sound beatings over any little misunderstanding. He says, he was able to record this particular one and the argument was over Sahur and didn't bother that she was heavily pregnant with his second child and started beating her.
He added the pregnant woman flee to his parents' house after wailing for a while.
After the matter was reported to the Police and declared wanted, the husband also bolted but according to Oyo state Police PRO who revealed that the incident happened at Ogbere Housing Estate Ibadan on Thursday morning, he has been arrested and kept in Police custody pending further investigations.
