Assin North Member of Parliament, James Gyekye Quayson has said that he won't abandon the battle to guarantee that Justice is served him and individuals of his Constituency.
The Supreme Court Wednesday decided that the Assin North Member of Parliament, James Gyekye Quayson can't hold himself as the Member of Parliament for individuals of Assin North.
At the Supreme Court Wednesday, Justices Agnes Dordzie and Nene Amegatcher disagreed while Prof. Henrietta Mensah Bonsu, Mariama Owusu, Gertrude Torkornoo, and Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi casted a ballot in favor.
In a prior administering at the Cape Coast High Court, directed by Justice Coram Kwasi Boakye, the court had decided that Mr Gyakye Quayson was not qualified to challenge the December 7, 2020, Parliamentary Elections since he bore double citizenship prior to picking assignment structures from the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC).
Responding to the decision the now previous Assin North Member of Parliament says he takes his energy from the adolescent in his voting demographic who have demonstrated that they have the stuff to guarantee the development of the body electorate.
He guaranteed them that they will chuckle last it is awesome to demonstrate that the ultimate satisfaction.
James Gyekye Quayson showed that the battle isn't just about him yet for individuals who confided in him and gave him the command to address them in the lawmaking house.
"I would have surrendered this battle at this point assuming that I were battling on my own volition or for my own delight. I descended here to accept this responsibility upon your various calls and now, I live not really for myself but rather for your advantage," he said.
