Osman Brustani was detained by the Ghana Police Service in connection with a viral video in which he was seen threatening someone.
The suspect is in police custody, according to a Facebook statement, and will be subjected to the legal procedure.
A photo of the suspect was posted on Facebook by the police.
According to the statement, the victim was contacted by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, by telephone on Tuesday [April 12, 2022], and "he looked shocked by the occurrence."
"The victim has been offered psychological care by a clinical psychologist from the Police Hospital, as per the IGP's instructions." In addition, the IGP sent a personal letter.
