DEPUTY MINISTER DINES WITH STUDENTS AT ST. JOHNS GRAMMAR SHS

Deputy Minister of Education Reverend John Ntim Fordjour lunch with pupils from St.Grammar John's Senior High School in Accra on Tuesday.

 

As hundreds of pupils sat in the dining hall for lunch, Patricia Quarshie, a form one student and table head, brought Rev. Fordjour jollof rice and fish.

 

After attending a ceremony at the Amasaman Senior High Technical School (AMASTEC) earlier in the day, the Minister dropped by the School unannounced to check on enrolling and chose to spend time with the students at lunch.

 

As part of its "Education for Digital Innovation Project," the Israeli Embassy in Ghana handed over a contemporary Information Communication Technology (ICT) classroom to AMASTEC on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

Rev. Fordjour reviewed the progress of work on a newly-built ladies' dormitory meant to accommodate the newly enrolled students while at St. John's Grammar SHS.

 

The project was completely finished at the time of the visit.

 

 

The Minister also inspected the amount of food in the School's stocks and evaluated the management's efforts to ensure the comfort of the incoming students.

 

The Minister ate with the students after expressing his appreciation for the number of food items in the store. He praised the School's caterers and stated, "This is amazing."
