At an incident in Zacholi, a Yendi suburb, nine people were slain.
The incident also resulted in the injuries of four additional people. Several residences were also set ablaze, as well as other property.
Community members believe the attack is retaliation for a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, April 12 near Zagbang on the Yendi Zabzugu road, in which two persons were slain.
Some people, on the other hand, claim they have no idea why the attack occurred.
