When the draw takes place on April 19, 2022, the Black Stars will find out their opponents.

The Ghana Football Association is in talks with a number of football associations and agencies in order to secure friendly fixtures during the FIFA international break in June.

According to sources, the friendlies will be played against opponents who have qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

According to GHANAsoccernet.com, agreements to play the USA and Mexico in those friendly matches are well advanced. Other European and Asian countries have expressed interest in facing the four-time African winners before the World Cup begins in November, according to sources.

According to GHANAsoccernet.com, the Ghana FA will explore playing friendly later this month.
