Henry Nana Boakye, commonly known as "Nana B," the National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on the government to establish a national day of thanksgiving.

According to him, it is critical that the entire nation come together to thank God for protecting them from the Coronavirus sickness.

According to Ghana Health Service data, the number of current COVID-19 cases has reduced dramatically from thousands to thirty-four (34).

Over 13 million Ghanaians have been immunized against viral illness at this time.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo announced in a recent weekly speech that wearing nose and face masks is no longer obligatory, but urged citizens to get their vaccines since 20 million Ghanaians are anticipated to get vaccinated.

Nana B, speaking on Peace FM's morning show "Kokrokoo," thanked God for saving the country from the epidemic and encouraged everyone to honor Him throughout the Easter season.

For this reason, he also proposed a National Thanksgiving Service.

"We have lost many dear ones, but let us remember and offer God thanks this Easter, in all things," he stated.
