Les Ferdinand
Les Ferdinand wreaked havoc against defenders across 13 Premier League seasons, starting with prolific spells at Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United.
At St James’ Park, his career-best 25 goals in 1995/96 helped Newcastle go close to the title that season.
Ferdinand led the line at Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Leicester City and Bolton Wanderers and, by the time he played his final Premier League match, only three players had scored more than his 149 goals.

What they said
“[Me and Les] were similar, we both loved crosses coming into the box and with the wingers that we had, with [Keith] Gillespie, [David] Ginola and Peter Beardsley, our Newcastle side was a very attacking team." - Alan Shearer
Did you know?
Ferdinand was the second player to score 100 Premier League goals, after Alan Shearer, reaching the tally in May 1997.
Ferdinand scored 149 Premier League goals for six different clubs. Only Craig Bellamy has scored for more different teams in Premier League history (7).
He is one of only five players to have scored a hat-trick for three different Premier League teams, doing so for QPR, Newcastle and Spurs.
