Mr. Ahmed Wiisichong Bening, Secretary General of the Pan African Youth Union, has undertaken working trips throughout Eastern Africa to engage key players in the formulation of an operational comprehensive youth development plan to kick-start the Pan African Youth Union's Renaissance Agenda.

He began his participation by stopping in Nairobi, Kenya, where he conducted a high-level meeting with Mr. Roy Sasaka Telewa, the CEO of the Kenya National Youth Council, to lay out a strategy framework to advocate youth development in Africa.

He then travelled to Rwanda, where he met up with development partners at the Youth Conneckt Hub's stakeholder gathering in Kigali, the country's capital.

The conference was held as part of the preparations for the next Youth Conneckt2022 in Rwanda.

Ahmed Wiisichong Bening, who heads the secretariat in charge of coordinating the continent's National Youth Councils, was ecstatic to be a part of the change movement.

He noted that all National Youth Councils and Civil Society Organizations from around Africa will participate in this year's event in a well-coordinated manner.
