The power ranking of Ballon d'Or 2022 players as an incredible star has now taken the lead

There are a number of players this season who could be serious contenders for the coveted individual award at the end of the season.

Karim Mostafa, Benzema In the football world right now, he's a huge celebrity. Everyone recognizes him as a superstar.

He is a player who has earned the right to be mentioned in the same breath as the best in the game.

In terms of his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or in 2022, Benzema has a strong case. He has already scored 50 goals in 37 games this season (37 goals, 13 assists).

10. Christopher Nkunku (CAM/ST, RB Leipzig

Nkunku was signed from PSG for €13 million (an excellent bargain), but he struggled in his first two seasons, scoring only 12 goals.

9. Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB, Liverpool)

Liverpool's player has been outstanding. In fact, since I began watching football, I have never seen a right-back produce such stats in a four-man defense. Trent is on another level entirely.

The 23-year-old has two goals and 17 assists in 36 games across all competitions (!).

8th. Vincius Jnior (LW, Real Madrid)

Vincius Jnior, who had only scored 15 goals in his previous three seasons combined, has more than lived up to the hype surrounding his signing from Brazilian club Flamengo, scoring 17 goals this season alone.

7. Riyad Mahrez is ranked (RW, Manchester City)

Riyad Mahrez is having one of, if not the, best seasons of his career.

However, this is his best season to date. He is Manchester City's leading scorer, with 22 goals and seven assists to his name.

6. Thibaut Courtois (GK, Real Madrid)

Thibaut Courtois is the best goalkeeper in the world. Period.

He is not only the best goalkeeper in the world this season, but also one of the best players in the world.

5. Luka Modric (5th) (CM, Real Madrid)

The arts expert in the midfield shows no signs of slowing down. He is still one of the best midfielders in the world despite being 36 years and 7 months old.

4. Mohamed Salah (RW, Liverpool)

Mohamed Salah was most likely one of the top two players in the Ballon d'Or race during the first few months of the season.

But don't be fooled by his ranking of fourth on this list. He is, however, still at the pinnacle of his profession.

3. Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain, LW/ST)

He is the player with the most goal contributions from Europe's top five leagues, with 31 goals and 22 assists in all competitions.

2. Lewandowski, Robert (ST, Bayern Munich)

There is no better goalscorer in the world right now. Lewandowski has scored from the left, right, and center of the field.

1. Karim Benzema is the first (ST, Real Madrid)

It was the most difficult decision, and Lewandowski would have been the first to make it on this list if it hadn’t been for Benzema’s hat-trick against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Yes, as it stands, that hattrick is what separates the two best players in the world right now. In 2021, Benzema finished fourth in the Ballon d’Or rankings.
