Today was the arraignment of the Lebanese guy who was detained on Wednesday for threatening the life of a business owner in Osu over a parking spot.

The Accra Circuit Court is hearing the case against Osman Brustani.

The suspect was remanded after Thursday's hearings and will appear in court on April 22, 2022.

"Having brought the accused individual before the court in accordance with due procedure, it is now for the court to make a conclusion on the matter," the police said.

Brustani grabbed a sword from its scabbard on Monday and threatened to slit the throat of a shopkeeper selling Kente cloth shoes.

Brustani stopped his car in front of his business for over an hour, according to an Instagram post by the entrepreneur with the handle @doit ghana. Because this was interfering with business, he instructed the Brustani to park his car in a more acceptable location.

This irritated Brustani, who immediately reached for his sword. He may be heard shouting "Come out." in the viral video. "I'm going to slash your neck," he said, demonstrating how he would do it.
