CHATI M/A BASIC SCHOOL TO GET 6 ULTRA-MODERN CLASSROOMS

M/ Chati Following a news report by Adom News, a basic school in the Nkwanta South Municipal in the Oti area is poised to receive six (6) unit ultra-modern classrooms.

Dream Africa Foundation, a non-governmental organisation located in Accra, is poised to construct a six-unit ultra-modern classroom block for the kids of Chati M/A Basic School as part of initiatives to provide excellent education in the nation.

 

This follows a report by Adom News' Obrempongba K. Owusu on the school's appalling circumstances.

According to the report, students at the school were forced to learn under trees and crumbling improvised shelters due to poor weather conditions.

The Dream Africa Foundation came to the village to help build the six-unit classroom building because they noticed how the current condition was preventing the people from receiving a good education.

 

Gloria Odotei, the Manager and Social Worker of Dream Africa, told Adom News that they were moved by the situation after seeing it on Adom News, and that they felt compelled to help the children in the neighbourhood.

 

Mrs Odotei believed that building the classrooms will assist enhance education quality while also allowing children in remote communities to compete effectively with students from other schools around the country for additional job prospects.

 

Sanaz from Austria, the project manager, stated that the organization's objective is to improve the quality of education in rural communities.
