Former music producer and now politician Mark Okraku Mantey in an interview on GTV, Mark urge the government to now focus on the YouTube, bloggers and online businesses and tax them since they get more than enough money there. According to Mark, if we really want the nation to thrive, everyone must give his first share and everyone must oat tax as well to help better things in the country.
He further added that, he supports the E-levy fully because he said people like the masons, painters, carpenter's and others do not pay any direct tax to the government fence the E-levy will help the government get it's taxes from all this people. He further added that, these people who do not pay any tax to the government are quick to complain about poor roads, poor infrastructure, and so on hence if they are taxed they can now complain since they are paying tax now and had every right to complain.
This remarks got people asking as to why someone who has suffered to set up and online business must pay tax to the government? In my opinion I don't see the reason my a YouTuber, blogger or vblogger must pay tax to the government.
