The Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area, Torgbui Adzonu-Gaga Amenya Fiti V on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 gave the government a four-month ultimatum to finish a community day school (E-Block) started by the former government. The school Block had been abandoned since the former government left office on January 7, 2017. The project had reached a 90 percent completion and needed minor works to be done on the block to make it usable by the community.
The President, Nana Akuffo-Addo responded to the Paramount chief that, if he (the chief) was impatient for the government to complete the school block at it own pace, He should go-ahead to complete it himself.
The People of Aflao both home and abroad took the challenge thrown by the President and have self-funded the completion of the E-Block. The picture below is the current state of the school, work is still in progress to achieve 100 percent completion.
