Reverend Professor Frimpong Manso, President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), has stated that churches affiliated with the council are prepared to organise this year's Easter Convention outside.

According to him, owing of the Covid-19 outbreak, churches have not hosted Easter conferences for the previous two years, but will this year.

In an interview with Adom News, he emphasised that Easter is a wonderful event for all Christians since it commemorates Jesus Christ's death and resurrection.

He claimed that they are prepared to depict Jesus, who by his death atoned for man's sins.

He also asked those Christians who have not been vaccinated to do so as they prepare for the Easter celebrations to prevent the spread of the disease. He also urged everyone to be self-sacrificing and make peace with one another during this season, adding that Easter is a time for reconciliation.

"Jesus' dying brings solidarity, peace, and care," he continued, "therefore everyone should offer love to those who are in need."
