Top European clubs are interested in Asante Kotoko striker Franck Mbella Etouga, who is expected to leave the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season.

According to reports, French Ligue 1 clubs Marseille and Saint Etienne, as well as Turkish giants Fernabache, have expressed interest in Etouga, who joined Kotoko from Cameroonian side Fortuna du Mfou in October last year.

German giants are also thought to be monitoring Etouga, who is largely considered as the greatest player in the local division.

Etouga joined Kotoko for free, but his current value to the club is around €800,000.

The Porcupine Warriors are fully aware that their striker is generating a lot of interest. They will, however, communicate with clubs that are solely interested in taking advantage of their offer.

Asante Kotoko's attacker has 16 goals and is a serious candidate for the top scorer award.

Etouga aims to be called up to the Cameroonian national team for the forthcoming qualifications as well as the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

Last Saturday, the 20-year-old scored the game's only goal, a coolly converted penalty, as Kotoko beat sworn rivals Hearts of Oak to keep their eight-point lead at the top of the league with ten games remaining.
