The Chairman of the Christian Council Ghana, the Right Reverend Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mantey, has urged country leaders to sacrifice their "comfortable lives" if they want to see Ghana flourish and prosper.
"Leaders of a country, a religion, or an organisation must realise that people will only follow those who are willing to sacrifice. Those don't follow people who are only interested in enjoying the treats all of the time. Some individuals are continually looking for ways to have fun, even while they are supposed to be sacrificing.
"For example, if you're elected president of this nation and it's in significant financial difficulties, you don't start slashing the goods at a time when we're all in hardship."
