Alhaji Mohammed Indimi OFR, the founder and chairman of Oriental Energy Resources (OER), a privately held Nigerian oil exploration and production firm, flew into Tamale, the Northern Regional Capital, to express his condolences to the Mahama family.

This comes after the death of Hajia Ramatu Mahama, the late former Vice President of Ghana (2001-2009) Alhaji Aliu Mahama's wife, with whom the prominent Nigerian businessman had a lengthy connection.

The late former Second Lady died on Thursday, and she was laid to rest on Saturday at the Black Star Square in Accra after a state-sponsored funeral attended by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, and the Second Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
