As Christians throughout the globe commemorate the death of Jesus Christ, Bishop Abraham Kofi Bruce, Founder and Head Pastor of Christ Living Faith Miracle Ministry, has urged Christians to pray for peace in Ukraine and Russia.
"As we commemorate this day, let us unite and utilise the death of Jesus Christ today to pray for peace to rule in Ukraine and Russia," he said.
Since Russia invaded Ukraine in early February this year, the two countries have been at odds for three months.
Bishop Bruce said Christians must join in prayer to promote peace between the two countries during a Good Friday sermon.
He claimed that Jesus Christ's death marked a turning point in history.
