Deadliest storm on record hits south Africa as over 300 people have died.
South African president Cyril Ramaphosa has described the disaster as a calamity and catastrophe.Â
Many have died, bridges, roads, and more than 6,000 houses have collapsed.Â
This has led to a number high amount of loss.
Neighbouring counteries of south Africa like Mozambique, Zimbabwe suffer such natural disasters from tropical storms but this time, south Africa has had it's share. Â
The rains werenot tropical but rather caused by a weather system called cutoff low and it brought rain and cold weather to the country. Â
This disasters was as a result of climate change.Â
By evening of 13th April the death rate was newly recorded at 306.
All this occurred in KZN kwazulu- Natal province.
