The Reverend Samuel Anang Ofoli, Minister in Charge of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Redemption Congregation, has urged Ghanaians, particularly Christians, to refrain from acting like Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus Christ.
"Covetousness has seized the people, even Christians, just as it did Judas, causing some to take bribes and engage in corrupt activities at the price of society's overall benefit," he stated.
When the church in Tema Community Nine joined other Christians worldwide to celebrate the death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Rev. Ofoli delivered the advise in his sermon on Good Friday on the topic: "Dying with Christ."
He said that certain church officials were converting the church into a commercial enterprise for personal benefit, and he urged them to repent.
