If given another chance, the German says he would still take the part.
Despite Manchester United's lackluster performance under his leadership, Ralf Rangnick believes he has no regrets about taking the position.
The Red Devils have only won one of their previous seven games in all competitions, and they are fighting for a spot in the Champions League next season.
They are in seventh place in the Premier League, six points outside the top four, going into Saturday's encounter against bottom-placed Norwich.
Rangnick took over as temporary manager for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer in November and will take over to a permanent replacement in the summer before going into a two-year consultant role, with Ajax manager Erik ten Hag the leader for the post.
His appointment was expected to improve their prospects of finishing in the top four, but the German has only won nine of his 22 games as manager. As the campaign has continued, the crowd has grown increasingly disgruntled, culminating to a protest against the club's owners outside their training field on Friday, with additional protests planned ahead of the Norwich match.
Despite the upheaval, Rangnick believes that he has no regrets about taking the post, even though he concedes that it has been difficult for him so far and wished things had happened differently.
“No. There are no regrets at all. He told reporters, "I would do it again and again."
"I have no regrets about it." As a manager, you must always question and ask yourself what you could have done better, if you could have used a different formation in some games, if you could have made a substitution sooner. This is what we usually do: we question ourselves about how we could have done things better.
"I think we're all aware it's not an easy squad; the circumstances was not easy, or I wouldn't be sitting here, and Ole would most likely still be here."
Again, I believe we have demonstrated in recent months that we have been able to lift the bar, but not in the manner that I would have preferred. That is why I am quite dissatisfied with what we have accomplished thus far."
