Despite the relaxation of limitations imposed as part of attempts to combat the Coronavirus epidemic, President Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to enjoy Easter responsibly and safely.

Following the relaxation of Covid restrictions, this is the first Easter in three years that has been completely enjoyed. The President admonished road users, particularly drivers, to be responsible on the road in an Easter greeting to Ghanaians.

"I encourage all of you to continue to live responsibly and safely, notwithstanding the easing of the limitations and the good news regarding infections, so that we may all contribute to the construction of mother Ghana." As a result, let us travel safely on the highways this season and keep the nation in our prayers at all times," the president said.

He urged Ghanaians to keep optimism alive for a better future for the country.

He stated that the government is working hard to return the country to a prosperous and growing path.

President Akufo-Addo expressed confidence in Ghana's ability to overcome present challenges through hard work and determination, stating that the future is bright.

"The government is working hard to return our country on a road of growth and prosperity — a route that our country was on before to the commencement of COVID-19, whose negative results have been worsened by the Russian invasion of Ukraine."
