Easter is a holy day observed by Christians all around the world to remember Jesus Christ's death, resurrection, and ascension. The Easter celebrations in Ghana are mainly held at Kwahu in the Eastern Region, but as we approach Easter, the GTV Breakfast Show's Keep an Eye segment has taken an intriguing and rather spiritual trek to Kpando, Agbnenoxoe in the Volta Region to see the "Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto."

The Grotto is a Holy Place with carved representations of highly important persons and events that occurred many years ago in relation to Jesus Christ's life and death.

According to legend, a woman who previously resided in that community went to the holy place to pray and was visited by the Virgin Mary, therefore a statue of the Virgin Mary was placed there to commemorate the event.

The hallowed area also has carved carvings depicting the various stages of the 14 Stations of the Cross, ranging from the events in the Garden of Gethsemane through the betrayal, trial, denial, crucifixion, and burial of Christ.
