Jenny from the square will get back to her old favorite spots.
The 2022 version of the Tribeca Festival will start off on Wednesday, June 8, with the world debut of "Halftime," another Netflix narrative that vows to infuse some genuine star wattage into the yearly festival of motion pictures and media.
The film follows Jennifer Lopez as she thinks about her vocation as a worldwide recording star and film symbol. Tribeca will have the film's debut at the United Palace in Washington Heights in upper Manhattan, which it notes is only a couple of tram prevents from Lopez's cherished Bronx, the precinct where she grew up. The film debuts on Netflix on June 14.
The narrative is coordinated by Amanda Micheli and will offer a close look in the background following Lopez as she prepares herself for her Super Bowl Halftime show, as well as her exhibition at the new official introduction.
"It's a distinction to be chosen for the premiere night of Tribeca, thus fitting to commend this basic achievement in Jennifer's life and profession only miles from where she grew up! To have the valuable chance to share this film on the big screen with a New York crowd is a blessing from heaven," said Micheli.
Tribeca has moved a long ways past its lower Manhattan center point. The current year's emphasis will unfurl at the Beacon Theater, the United Palace, Pier 57, Spring Studios, BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, SVA Theater, Village East by Angelika, Cinépolis Chelsea, Waterfront Plaza at Brookfield Place and Battery Park City.

Rosenthal's fellow benefactor Robert De Niro was likewise unrestrained.
