COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ADMISSION FORMS OUT AND HOW TO APPLY.

Colleges of Education Admission Forms 2022/2023: Colleges of education, also known as Teacher Training Colleges, will release admission forms for the 2022/2023 academic year in March 2022. Before applying for admission, all potential applicants should carefully examine the admission requirements and ensure that they meet them.

Applicants should be aware that the ministry of education will no longer accept D7 as a passing grade for admission to any of the country's 46 public colleges of education. To meet the colleges of education's minimal entry standards, you must have a C6 in three core topics, including English and math, and three elective subjects.

 

For the 2022/2023 academic year, applications are requested from adequately qualified applicants for admission to the FOUR YEAR BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (B.Ed) DEGREE PROGRAMME in Ghana's All Public Colleges of Education.

 

Admissions Requirements for Colleges of Education:

 

Applicants with a WASSCE/SSSCE qualification

 

The following are the general requirements for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program:

 

CREDIT (A1-C6) in six (6) topics, including three (3) core subjects, such as English Language and Core Mathematics, and three (3) elective subjects appropriate to the programme of study.

 

CREDIT (A-D) in six (6) topics, including three (3) core subjects, such as English Language and Core Mathematics, and three (3) elective subjects suitable to the programme of study for SSSCE holders.

 

Holders of TVET qualifications must have CREDIT in three core subjects, including English and mathematics, as well as PASSES in three elective subjects relevant to the programme of study.

Candidates awaiting the MAY/JUNE, 2022 WASSCE and NABPTEX RESULTS can also apply.

 

Colleges of Education Online Application Procedure 2022

Applicants must first deposit GHC115.50 into the Colleges of Education- Ghana Account at any branch of the following bank located throughout Ghana:

 

Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited is a bank based in Ghana.

 

ii) Payments can also be done via mobile money wallets such as Tigo Cash, Vodafone Cash, Airtel Money, and MTN Mobile Money by dialing *924*8# from any network.

 

Applicants will receive the following information after making a payment:

 

A PIN is a unique number that identifies you (PIN).

 

A serial number for an admission application.

 

admission.coeportal.edu.gh is the website address for admission.

 

With this PIN, applicants will go to the Colleges of Education admission website: admission.coeportal.edu.gh and fill out the online application form according to the instructions.

 

Applicants should choose three colleges for their programme and a Ghanaian language to go with it.

 

NOTES

 

Before completing the application form, applicants should read and make sure they understand all of the requirements.

 

Applicants should be aware that incomplete application forms will not be processed.

 

After completing the online application form, an applicant must print a copy, which should be submitted by EMS priority envelope to: The Principal of the COLLEGE chosen, together with one passport photograph and a copy/copies of their results slips (where applicable) by Ghana Post nationwide.

Applicants will be notified of their applications' receipt via SMS (text message), so offer accurate and trustworthy cellphone numbers while filling out the web form.

 

Applicants will also receive SMS alerts of admission offers, and those who do not receive such information may believe their applications were unsuccessful.

 

Applicants should be aware that as part of the admissions process, the Colleges will cross-check their results with the West African Examinations Council. Applicants who are found to have submitted forged or fabricated papers in support of their applications will be subjected to legal action.

 

Forms for teacher training must be submitted by 2022/2023.

 

Admissions will begin in March/April 2022 and end in August of that year.
