ANCELOTTI MUST CHOOSE BETWEEN CAMAVINGA AND RODRIGO

Eduardo Camavinga came off the bench in Real Madrid's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Chelsea at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in midweek, and he impressed with his performance in midfield.

The 19-year-old was also vital in Los Blancos' comeback victory over Paris Saint-Germain, and although not scoring many goals, his recovery of the ball against Chelsea led to Karim Benzema's extra-time winner.

Camavinga's impact off the bench in these two games has pleased Carlo Ancelotti, but he is undecided whether to start him or Rodrygo against Sevilla on Sunday.

Given Casemiro's suspension, the Italian coach must decide whether to start the Frenchman in Casemiro's place or give Rodrygo the nod and move Fede Valverde to a three-man midfield

Camavinga and Valverde were the two players who gave Los Blancos the energy they needed to qualify for the Champions League against Chelsea, but Ancelotti believes the former Rennes prodigy is not yet tactically mature enough to manage a difficult game away at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.

Camavinga would be better suited to the pandemonium of a comeback effort than a game against a tactically savvy Sevilla side, where order is required.

This indicates that the Rodrygo alternative is becoming increasingly viable.
