Information gathered by myblogpay.com indicates that Ghana and Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Tei Partey has sustained a terrible injury.
The deputy captain of the Black Stars of Ghana sustained a muscle damage in the right thigh in Arenal's disappointing defeat to city rivals, Crystal Palace. The game ended with 3-0 win for Crystal Palace.
Prior to the injury, the 28-year old midfielder had a wonderful season driving the Mickel Arteta side to it's champions league participation for the first time in a while. He again led his national side, the Black Stars of Ghana into securing a ticket to the World Cup. His first goal was the decider for the West African nation.
According to handlers of the player, his injury is severe and could likely rule him out of the rest of the season.
A statement from his club's website states, the 28-year-old has sustained a muscle damage on his right thigh following a series of scars and could miss the rest of the season.
His name is missing on the players selected for this weekend's game.
Officials of the team indicates his situation is not looking positive.
Mikel Arteta states he is not optimistic of a Partey return for the rest of the season.
