THE WORLD AGAINST ME

In a world of horror

Mighty teeth like in a crocodile’s mouth

Grab my poor dermis

With horrible bites

Not paying heed to the sharpness,

The pains, I am left to endure

The scars

Not that I am oblivious to

But I am just being driven

Driven by the inner force

That is so determined for achievement

Letup, an odium

Deferring is obloquy

So I grind and gnash

It’s my teeth against the world’s

I keep a tight upper lip

Running over blood sucking hurdles

To the end of life’s race, I endure
