The sad incident occurred in the night on Saturday 10th April 2020 at Tokor a suburb of Ho in the Volta region.

The lifeless body of the Miss Etornam Sylvia was found on the lorry road by the police patrol.

It is alleged that the police saw a toyota corolla car approaching and when they tried to stop it the car sped off forcing the police to give it a hot chase. Report has it that the state of the body didn't look like it was a car crush but looked more like a deliberate murder. Her private part seemed to be cut off.

Witnesses alleged, that her co-tenants saw her leave the house as she told them she was just going out to check on something. Her TV set was left on implying that she wasn't going too far from home. Unfortunately, her co- tenants also slept off only to wake up the next morning and find out that her TV set was still on. They searched for her but their search proved futile. They were later informed that the police had found a dead body around Denu,a near by town. The co- tenants got there only to realize that it was Sylvia's lifeless body.

Information allegedly has it that her boyfriend visited her on the Friday and left in the morning before the evening the sad incident occured.

As it stands now, her boyfriend is a suspect as well as the driver who was pursued by the police.

Miss Sylvia completed Jasikan College of Education in the year 2012.
