Dr. Bawumia, Ghana's vice president, has mocked Boateng Henry Blessing, a BECE graduate from the Afigya Kwabre North constituency. One student, Boateng Blessing, addressed a vital issue about employment at a recent one-on-one question and answer session with the vice president. He told the vice president that their parents constantly encouraged them to offer Science as a SHS program since it offers more career chances.I just wanted to inquire since career options in Ghana are limited, and when we reach high school, the only course our parents push or urge us to do is Science. Because science is believed to provide a lot of work chances. So, is there any course that can help us get a job once we finish it?Dr. Bawumia mocked the pupil, laughing, by saying the boy is already considering job prospects after BECE. Everyone in the room burst out laughing shortly after he said this.Dr. Bawumia, on the other hand, stated that the student's question is a good one, and he answered to it as well.
