A woman in her 40s was killed in a Metro Mass bus with the registration number GS 5264-20 that was traveling from Kumasi to Wa.
According to reports, the deceased was traveling with her two children.
Other passengers on board told Rebecca Nantomah of Adom News that the woman was meant to get off at Bole.
However, she fell asleep in the middle of the voyage, and her boys aged 13 to 15 tried unsuccessfully to wake her up when they arrived in Bole.
The driver and the police escort were notified, and they attempted but failed to rouse her up.
The driver immediately went to the Bole police station, where the body was sent to the Bole district hospital.
Since then, the body has been buried.
