Yordenis Ugas' right eye attachment was cracked in his tenth round TKO misfortune to Errol Spence in Texas, the Cuban contender said on Sunday.

"I have a crack in my eye and in the following couple of days the specialists will say how they will treat it," Ugas said in an Instagram post.

"I went the entire morning in a medical clinic and I compose these words with just a single eye, the other one is as yet shut."

Arbitrator Laurence Cole halted the battle in the tenth round on the guidance of the ringside specialist in light of the fact that Ugas' right eye was enlarged closed.

The Cuban, who tumbled to 27-5 with 22 successes inside the distance, had battled on for three rounds after the enlarging started directly following a left uppercut from Spence in the seventh round.

"I was unable to see from the eye, however I needed to continue onward to the end," Ugas said in an in-ring interview after the session at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in rural Arlington.

ESPN revealed that Ugas didn't need crisis medical procedure, and would be rethought after the enlarging dies down to decide whether further clinical mediation is required.

Unbeaten Spence improved to 28-0 with 22 knockouts with the triumph, adding Ugas' World Boxing Association welterweight title to his own World Boxing Council and International Boxing Federation belts.
