Bruno Fernandes, a Manchester United midfielder, gets away   unharmed after crashing his £90,000 Porsche the day before his team's match against Liverpool, with a second car landing in a garden a few miles from United's Carrington training site.

After being involved in a car accident this morning, Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes escaped major injury.

After an incident involving his Porsche near the club's Carrington training camp, midfielder Fernandes, 27, was unharmed and is likely to practise as usual today.

The other persons involved in the crash are likewise believed to be unharmed.

The vehicle, valued at £90,000, was damaged on the driver's side, with two automobiles visibly battered down a tight route, according to photos from the scene.

The second vehicle, a Volkswagen, appears to have collided with a fence, leaving the driver's door open. The tarmac was also littered with debris.

The incident also threw emergency workers for a loop.

Fernandes can be seen standing on the side of the road with his smashed-up luxury car in parts in front of him in another shot uploaded on social media.

In his pre-match press conference this afternoon, United interim manager Ralf Rangnick is expected to deliver an update on the player's condition.

Fernandes' accident occurred the day before his team's Premier League match against Liverpool.

Since joining the club from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020, he has made 120 appearances for the club and has scored 49 goals.
