Barcelona vs. Cadiz - Preview ,prediction, team news, lineups, missing players, available players,Kick- off time
Barcelona will look to make it eight consecutive La Liga victories when they host relegation-threatened Cadiz at Camp Nou on Monday night.
Catalan giants are currently second in the table, 12 points behind leaders Real Madrid with a game in hand, while Cadiz are 18th, one point ahead of 17th-placed Mallorca with a game in hand.
Team Updates
Barcelona has been hit with the news that Pedri will miss the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury suffered against Frankfurt on Thursday night.
Samuel Umtiti and Sergi Roberto are also out, as are Gerard Pique and Ansu Fati, despite the fact that both have recently returned to training.
Ronald Araujo will not play for the home team due to suspension, so Clement Lenglet could start in place of Pique, with Gavi expected to take Pedri's place in midfield.
There are unlikely to be any surprises in the final third of the field, with the front three set to be Ousmane Dembele, Ferran Torres, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Cadiz will be without Varazdat Haroyan and Florin Andone due to injuries, while Iza is questionable.
The visitors will also be without Ruben Alcaraz, who was sent off in the league defeat to Real Betis last time out, but Jose Mari will be back from his own ban and should start.
In a 4-4-2 formation, Lucas Perez and Alvaro Negredo should continue as the front two, with Ivan Alejo and Oussama Idrissi operating in the wide areas for the away side.
Barcelona possible starting lineup:
Ter Stegen; Alves, Lenglet, E Garcia, Alba; F de Jong, Busquets, Gavi; Dembele, Aubameyang, Torres
Cadiz possible starting lineup:
Ledesma; Akapo, Chust, Hernandez, Espino; Alejo, Mari, Fede, Idrissi; Negredo, Perez
PREDICTION : Barcelona 2-1 Cadiz
